Marsha and Scott Gaston
Liberty Automated Medical Billing Services
Billing Services

With a vision and steadfast belief in purpose, Scott and Marsha Gaston established “LAMBS” in the summer of 2001. This was to be an entity that would provide professional medical office business services for reasonable fees, yet maintain a personable relationship with individual practices and their patients. It was felt that practitioners would greatly benefit from being able to concentrate on their professions if they felt confident that their businesses and patients had real people looking after their interests and not some cold, impersonal, “Big Business” to deal with when an answer were needed. Since that time, Scott and Marsha have held true to their beliefs and limited their business to a hand full of practices so that they were always available to answer any question or need that may arise. In fact, word of mouth and consultation from these same satisfied practitioners has been and continues to be, the primary driver for LAMBS to accept new clients.

Scott and Marsha recently celebrated their 25th Wedding Anniversary and are the proud parents of Christopher Gaston who is a 2007 graduate of Heathwood Hall and currently a sophomore at Coastal Carolina University. Scott is a retired U.S. Air Force First Sergeant who entered the Air Force after graduating High School in Fort Payne, Alabama in May of 1975. Scott recently resigned his position as Financial Institution Specialist with the FDIC (where he was also certified in Deposit Insurance Claims) to devote more time to family, degree pursuit, and LAMBS. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (concentration in Accounting) “Magna Cum Laude” from Limestone College in Gaffney, South Carolina, went on to complete his Master of Business Administration from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Business Administration. Marsha is a hometown girl! She graduated from Dreher High School in Columbia, South Carolina. After attending Columbia Junior College, she had a successful career going in Retail Management. Unfortunately, when she married Scott, she also married the Air Force which meant frequent moves and the end to her career.

As one career ends, another begins and this actually turned out well as both went on to become licensed insurance agents in North and South Carolina. From that came the experience basis needed for hire in a new career in the Insurance and Credit Card Industries. One that included many years working for the likes of Blue Cross/Blue Shield, where Marsha was so highly thought of in her role of Claims Adjudications and Resolutions, she was chosen to train new hires; S.R.C. where her skills in Customer Service and account coordination garnered her many awards, and eventually the South Carolina Medical Association. It was from there that she resigned when a budding young upstart called “LAMBS” was founded. That brings us full circle. From day one, Lambs was conceived (and continues to operate) on the promise of the best possible services, born from the best possible experience and education, on a faithful and personable basis. After all, when we’re doing what we do best, you’re free to concentrate on what you do best!
